- Insert the crank handle into the gear box and open the telescope by turning the crank handle counter-clockwise until it stops. The canopy and cantilever will remain closed during this process. Keep tension on the cable as you turn the crank handle counter-clockwise. Once released, discard the black rope.
note… On the 8’ square cantilever, the cable is attached and this step is not necessary.
- Remove the pin and insert the cable and then reinsert the pin, securing the cable to the top cart.
- Align the cantilever to your desired position and then secure the cam lock handle into place.
